Scheduling Your Appointment When scheduling your appointment, please provide: Type of document(s) requiring notarization Number of notarizations needed Appointment location Preferred appointment date and time Providing this information in advance allows us to prepare appropriately and ensure your appointment runs efficiently. Mobile Travel Policy Mobile service within a 10-mile radius of Stafford Courthouse is included. Travel beyond a 10-mile radius of Stafford Courthouse will incur a $1.50 per mile travel fee. All travel fees will be confirmed before your appointment. Notarial fees are charged in accordance with Virginia law. Travel fees are separate and apply only to mobile appointments outside the included service area. Payment Payment is due at the beginning of your appointment before services are rendered. Documents must be signed in the presence of the notary unless otherwise permitted under Virginia law. Appointment Policy Please notify us at least 2 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. A 15-minute grace period is provided. If the signer is unavailable after 15 minutes, additional waiting or travel charges may apply.
